Bible Atlas

The Macmillan Bible Atlas (Macmillan General Reference; 3 Rev. Sub. edition, 1993), written by Yohanna Aharoni and Michael Avi-Yonah, is one of the best biblical atlases, especially for Bible study. The purpose of the Atlas is to show changes and historical proceses the lands of the Bible through maps of each event.

The maps that are accompanied by biblical passages in The Macmillan Bible Atlas help readers to imagine the world of the Bible. The index of the Atlas directs readers from a particular biblical passage to the corresponding map.

This third revised edition of The Mcmillan Bible Atlas incorporates some knowledge gained from recent archaeological surveys and excavations.
